Site For Sale

As I have been forced to give up Triathlon through Injury, I have decided to sell this site by closed auction.

If you are interested in owning this site then send a closed bid by using our contact form at Contact Eazi IT.

All proceeds will be donated to the FSID.

Well Its all Over :(

I have had my scans and a period of rehab but the sad outcome is that my Triathlon career is at an end.

Not the most auspicious of athletic carriers but I did enjoy my couple of tris over the last 3 years.

Time to hang up the Lycra and accept old age :)

What no Posts….

Avid readers may have noticed that we have been quiet for some time.

Unfortunately, this is down to an injury. A few days after the Tatton Park Triathlon I began to have a few problems with my left knee.

I’ve been for an MRI scan and now tomorrow I have to go to see the surgeon for the news.

To operate or not to operate, that is the question…….

I completed my leg of the Triathlon (the 20Km Cycle) in 47 minutes which I was quite pleased with. This coupled with James 16 minute swim and Alans 26 minute run gave us a team time of 1hr 37 minutes :)

Pain

I completed my first full distance/ race pace traing session yesterday…. 20Kms in 35 Minutes 40 Seconds. Not bad but I think I’ll be able to get that down a bit in the next couple of weeks.

We appreciate all the support that we have recieved so far but now we want your cash :)

Please pop along to justgiving.com/triandhelp and make a donation. Every penny could save the life of a child.

New Team Member Required

As mentioned in my earlier blogs, we are entering the 2009 Mazda London Triathlon as a team but….. we have had our first casualties.

Tracy is no longer available, so we urgently need a swimmer for the 750m swimming leg. If you fancy a free entry to join our team then drop us a line using the contact form..

I did say casualties…. Yep I have managed to lightly sprain my ankle too. Its not bad and I will be back to training in a day or so.

Alan is going from strength to strength, easily completing 5kms in under 25 mins now. At least that should make our time look respectable.

Come on join us now for the experience of a lifetime, be part of the London Triahlon even if you’ve never done anything like it before, 2 months left to train for a 750m swim. (thats around 30 lengths of most swimming pools).

Training Progress

I’m really not good at this blogging :) Not much better at training either.

At least I have trained a lot more times than I’ve blogged in the last nine days.

I’ve been working away and so I made the most of the hotel gym, with a mixture of swimming, excercise bike and treadmill.

Best I’ve done so far probably equates to hald distance but it’s filled me with confidence.

I’m training with a Suunto T6 watch. these things are fantastic. I’ll blog some more about the science and how they help you train soon.
